Tom Firth (U14)
Tom Firth has just started playing in defence for Square FC’s Under 14s, although his favourite position is a winger where he likes to dribble along the wing, put in crosses and score the occasional goal. He has played for Square since it started, and before that played for his junior school Icknield for 3 years. He was also in the winning team for the Ashton Middle School five-a-side tournament in 2003. His favourite player is Steven Gerrard and he supports Liverpool FC.

Chris Jones (U12 & U14)
Chris Jones was born in Exeter, Devon and moved to Dunstable in 2001. He plays in defence for the Under 12 team and sometimes plays in goal for the Under 14 team. Chris says: “I like playing in goal but also love having a run out on the field playing in defence.” Chris likes listening to music by Linkin Park and Green Day. His favourite TV shows are Little Britain and Braniac. Chris supports Watford FC.

James Kight (U14)
James Kight plays for Square FC Under 14s. He plays either midfield or defence but can play up front as well. James used to play for Dunstable Rangers but is pleased to continue playing for Square, as Rangers had to fold. He supports Luton Town, as they are the closest team to where he lives. James doesn’t like listening to music and he plays the drum kit.

Joe Marr (U14)
Joe Marr is 13 years old and plays for Square FC Under 14 team in defence. He is a keen footballer and in his spare time he likes to play with his friends. When he is older he hopes to be an RAF pilot, because he loves to fly. Joe goes to Ashton Middle School and plays for the year 8 team. Joe thinks the Under 14 team could win the double this year! He attends a church in St. Albans and supports Tottenham Hotspur FC.

Alex Marvin (U12 & U14)
Alex Marvin used to play for Dunstable Rangers as a striker. He has recently joined Square FC and now plays midfield. Alex also enjoys playing basketball and rugby for his school. His favourite football team is Manchester United and his dream is to go to a Man U live match one day.

Chris Matthews (U12 & U14)
Chris Matthews plays mainly goalkeeper for the Under 12s and striker/goalkeeper for the Under 14s. He started his career playing for Ashton St. Peters Lower School and then when he was too old he moved on to play for Dunstable Town Under 10s. When he was 9 Chris won two trophies playing in a football tournament in Skegness, one was the “fair play award.” Chris then moved on to play for Watling Rangers Under 13s but didn’t really get a chance to prove himself, so he left and then made his best move to Square FC where he really thanks his friends for inviting him to join. Chris is a season ticket holder at Luton Town FC.

Tom Mitchelmore (U14)
Tom Mitchelmore plays for Square FC Under 14s team. Last season (2003/2004) he played for Dunstable Rangers who kept a 100% record winning the League and the Cup.
