Joshua Berry is enjoying his third
season for Square FC, he is eleven years old and plays
defence or midfield for the Under 12 team. He enjoys
travelling to watch his favourite team Ipswich Town
play, and his favourite player is their highly rated
young striker Dean Bowditch. Josh speaks highly of the
CYFL, he says "I enjoy playing in the league because
it’s friendly and the general standard of football
is very good".

Jack Sullivan plays for the Under
12s. It is his first season with Square F.C. He has
told me that he is having a great time, not only at
the matches but also at training. He has two older sisters
Jade 14 and Becky 13. He lives at a school, so he and
his sisters can play football on the playing field and
basketball in the playground. He goes to school in Caddington.
Where he lives there is a small farm where he helps
look after the sheep, goats, geese, ducks, chickens,
rabbits and guinea pigs. He supports Man Utd. and sometimes
goes to see them with his Dad.

Matthew Custance is in his second
season at Square F.C. and is thoroughly enjoying it.
He is also a very keen cricketer representing his school
and Dunstable Town Cricket Club. He recently watched
an Ashes match at Old Trafford and also went on a tour
of Lords. Matthew has an older brother, Darren who plays
for the Under 19s and a younger sister, Joanne who regularly
comes to watch Square play.
