In their first league game City proved tough opponents, with determined
defending throughout the match, and scoring a breakaway goal with
just minutes remaining. However Square managed to level the score
to retrieve a point from the game.
In this second meeting of the teams, it looked to be more of the
same, as City dug in again. This time it was Square that broke the
deadlock, as Alex clipped a corner in at the front post, to give
a 1 goal lead at half time.
This seemed to turn the tide, and Square resumed the match in full
flow, and took their chances to increase the lead, despite City
still performing well in defence.
