Square needed to bounce back from their first encounter, when St Marys took the points with a 3-0 win. Square rose to the challenge, and controlled the game from the start. Excellent defensive cover from Josh and Joe ensured the pressure was kept on the opponents half. Alex worked well in the central role, with effective ball distribution creating constant attacks.

However, St Marys provided resistance in defence, and with some excellent goalkeeping. Both Tom Foster and Alex battled in front of goal, earning them both a goal, and with a penalty decision for a handball which was coolly put away by Alex, gave a comfortable 3 goal win.

This has levelled the honours between the teams, and their 3rd league match should be an entertaining game.
