Square completed a comprehensive victory over Cornerstone Omega
to move to the top of the league at the half way stage of the season.
Square dominated the game from the kick off and, with Darren always
looking as if he would score, lead 4-0 at the break with goals from
Darren (3) and Mark Chalkley.
Square continued in the same manner in the second half with further
goals from Darren (2), Ben and Mark (again !) to move into an 8-0
lead. To their credit Cornerstone kept battling away and they grabbed
the consolation goal they deserved. However Square responded again
through Darren who scored a sixth goal to seal the victory.

Man of the Match:
Darren Custance - his
goals were the “icing on the cake” in a fine, dominant
display from Square.
Summary:
Square were the older, stronger side and held too much for the young
Cornerstone side. Square have been creating numerous chances in
all of their games this season and have always threatened to convert
them into a high score against somebody. Unfortunately Cornerstone
came up against on the day that they did just that.
