Square finished their league campaign undefeated after this victory
over one of their main rivals for the league title.
The first half saw Square put in an emphatic performance as they
dominated HFC Rangers and they lead 4-0 at the break with goals
from Darren (2) and Matthew (2). Square nullified the HFC Rangers
threat throughout and were well worth their first half lead.
Square took the opportunity to rotate their squad in the second
half which saw them stretch their lead to 5-0 with an excellent
individual goal from Otto. Perhaps, with the game won, Square relaxed
and this allowed HFC Rangers back into the game and they reduced
the final scoreline to 5-2 at the finish – a deserved reward
for their persistence.

another excellent performance from Chalkers.
Summary:
This, particularly the first half, was one of Square’s best
team performances of the season. Every player contributed to the
performance which made picking a man of the match extremely difficult.
