Square completed another victory with an in and out performance.
The first half was all Square as they totally dominated the first
half and deservedly led 4-0 at half time with all the goals scored
by Darren. It is fair to say that Cornerstone created very little
and Square were always in complete control.
The second half was more or less the opposite. Whether it was down
to Square switching off, or Cornerstone’s improved performance,
is difficult to say. Cornerstone put Square under pressure and pulled
two goals back whilst Square seem to lose their way. However their
first half display had seen them home.
Man of the Match:
Darren Custance –
it was his overall performance, not just his goals, that stood out.
Summary:
Whilst the first half performance was outstanding, the second half
was not. However Square had the game effectively won at half time
and, with the league already in their possession, perhaps the motivation
was missing.
