Square United secured
their 10th straight victory, overcoming a stubborn Cornerstone Alpha
side.
United began the game strongly but were unable to take any of the
chances that they created. Alpha came back into the game when United’s
performance became a little slack. However it was United who opened
the scoring through Darren and this was the half time score.
United dominated the second half but again failed to take their
chances. Again United scored the only goal of the half through Darren
but United should have added to their goals tally. However I thought
the second half was more to the standard that they can play at.

thought James anchored the midfield well as well as linking up with
the attack.
Summary:
Whilst Cornerstone Alpha made United work for this victory, the
chances were numerous and United should have won by a greater margin.
The players know how to win games without having to put in exceptional
performances. However it was another victory and a clean sheet and
United complete the first half of the season without dropping a
point.
