Square United put in
another excellent performance to defeat Cornerstone Omega, despite
only having 5 players available for the game. The game was played
on a heavy pitch in wet, windy and sleety conditions.
In spite of this, Square playing with the wind at their backs dominated
the opposition and lead 5-0 at the break with goals from Darren
four and an own goal.
Although under more pressure in the second half, Square always looked
likely to hit Cornerstone Omega on the break. This Square United
did, extending their lead with goals from Mark and Darren 3 and
they ran out convincing winners.

Man of the Match:
The Whole Team –
outstanding display with only 5 players and in difficult playing
conditions, particularly in the second half.
Summary:
An outstanding display from the whole team. Everybody deserves credit,
Andy with some important saves ; Ben, James and Mark containing
the opposition to just one deflected score and linking up with Darren
and Darren, playing as the lone striker, getting the goals in this
empathetic victory..
