Square gained their seventh
straight win with a comprehensive defeat of Elevate.
In the first half, although dominating the game, some of Square’s
passing was of a sloppy nature and, in addition, the fact that they
did not convert their chances gave their opponents sufficient encouragement
that they could still play a part in the game. However Darren made
the breakthrough and Square lead 1-.0 at the break.
The second half saw Square step up a gear and, although there were
still moments of casualness, the improved performance saw Square
move to a 4-0 victory with Darren completing a second half hat-trick.
In fairness the score could have been more bat Square were denied
by the woodwork on two occasions, as well as missing some golden
chances.

his goals, and his partnership with Jamie, were too much for the
opposition.
Summary:
Overall this was a good performance, particularly in the second
half. As stated there was a casualness that lead to sloppy periods
of play (let’s put it down to the cold morning). However,
despite this, it was another comprehensive victory, a clean sheet
and we continue to create numerous chances.
