How do I
become a member of Square FC?
The requirements are that you must attend a church or
church-based activity on a regular basis, and have a genuine
interest in sport.
When are the matches
played?
All matches are played on a Saturday morning. Some additional
friendly matches may be midweek in the summer but there
is NO Sunday football.
Where are the matches
played?
Square FC play their home matches at Manshead Upper
School Dunstable. This is located on the A5 heading
south just out of Dunstable. We also use Totternhoe
Lower School as one of venues.
What about training?
Training is held at Dunstable Leisure Centre All Weather
Pitch every Thursday.
How long is training?
Training lasts 1 hour.
What about subs/fees?
There is no joining fee or annual membership fee. Players
pay £2.50 per week for matches or training.
Who do I contact if I
have a problem concerning my child playing for Square
FC?
First contact would be the player’s Coach and
then if still not satisfied the Club’s Child Protection
Officer.
How do I become a sponsor?
Contact one of the Coaching Staff and you will be kept
up to date with all that is happening with the Club
as well as giving you the advertising should you need
it.
How is the Club funded?
The Club is funded by club members’ weekly subscriptions,
an annual grant from Dunstable Methodist Church and
extra donations by church members. Fund raising events
take place from time to time throughout the football
season.
Why is it called ‘Square
FC’?
Because the club was founded by adults and young people
attending Dunstable Methodist Church which is also known
locally as ‘The Square’ because it is situated
at the edge of Dunstable’s old market square.
